Our consignment process is simple and fast! All steps can be completed
electronically and we offer a very easy way to upload your files and photos.
(You can still print & mail the forms & photo CD if you prefer.)

VEHICLE DELIVERY:

AUCTION DAY: Get to the auction site early. Have plenty of time to get your vehicle in its spot so the most people can see it.   Have your car clean and detailed. Be sure the battery is charged, it has gas, etc.  Stay near your car and speak with prospective buyers. You are your car's biggest fan and the best person to answer questions. People decide which cars they are bidding on before they ever cross the block.   Print hand out sheets to give to perspective buyers. Include the year, make, model, lot number and any relevant information about the vehicle. You may also bring trophies etc. to display but please limit the amount of items, as space is limited and the car should be the focus of attention.  Have copies of documentation on hand for potential buyers. Include items such as maintenance history, show history, awards, etc.  Drive your car over the auction block. We prefer and recommend that you be present with your car on the block for any last minute questions or situations that may occur.
FEES:

RESERVE: 6% seller commission- deducted from payoff. $100 block fee. (Block fee refunded at payoff if sold.)
NO RESERVE: 5% seller commission- deducted from payoff. $25 block fee. (Block fee refunded at payoff if sold.)
CANCELLATION FEE: $25 deducted from block fee (if more than 5 days from entry.)
LEIN TITLE: $100 processing fee- deducted from payoff (if applicable)
TITLE CORRECTION: $100 title- deducted from payoff (if applicable) INSURANCE:
For your safety and the safety of all participants, all vehicles must be insured for the dates they will be at the auction facility. The seller is responsible for their own vehicle insurance. Proof of insurance will be required at check in.

FAQ: DO I HAVE TO BE AT THE AUCTION SITE WHEN MY CAR ARRIVES? We prefer and advise that you be present. However, if all your paperwork is complete you do not need to be there when it arrives. Hartland Auctioneers assumes no liability for unloading cars at the auction site.
DO I HAVE TO BE THERE WHEN MY CAR SELLS? We prefer and advise that you be present, but it is not a requirement. WHEN WILL MY CAR GO ON THE AUCTION BLOCK? We will tell you what day your vehicle will sell, and 3-4 hour time window for the sale. We give our complete attention to each car on the block and take the time each vehicle needs to maximize the bid.

TO PRE-REGISTER YOUR CAR FOR CONSIGNMENT:

Download and fill out electronically or print and fill out by hand.  
Take the following 5-6 Photos

Front corner (showing entire front and side)
Rear corner (showing entire rear and other side)
Side (showing entire car)
Interior
Engine
Any additional photo highlighting the car (optional)

Photos must be at least 1.5 mb in size, full color.
Take the photos outside if possible, in good light, with minimal background.
Do not take them in a garage or with people if at all possible.  
Additional Forms/Information Required:
Copy of the title, front and back. Copy of factory high performance documentation, if any. Documentation of awards, ie Top Flight, Bloomington Gold, etc. Dealers must provide a copy of the front and back of their valid Dealer license.

Download forms & fill out on your computer. (Instructions here)
Scan title & documentation.
Have your 5-6 photos.
Make folder on your computer and name it the year make model of your car (example: 1965 Chevy Nova) and put all files, forms and photos in this file, then upload it here. 
In The Mail:
Print and fill out forms, make copies of title (front & back) & documentation. Send paper forms & CD of digital photos in the mail to:  Hartland Auctions PO Box 209 Portersville, PA 16051  
Watch for the signed auction agreement in your email. (USPS if no email.)

Send check for auction fees as noted. HOW TO DOWNLOAD FILES:
Windows: Right click on the file name then choose “save target as” or “save link as”.
Mac: Right click on the file name then choose “Download linked file”
The files will download to your Download Folder (or anywhere else you specify).

HOW TO FILL OUT ELECTRONIC FORMS:
Open the file, click in the fields, type in the information. Save and upload.
